Are you interested in private equity, and want to be part of a driven and ambitious student group? NHHS Private Equity recruits new members twice a year — at the beginning of both the fall and spring semesters — in line with NHHS’s official recruitment periods. During "opptaksuken", we will be present with a stand, and we encourage anyone who is curious or interested to stop by for a chat. Qualities we value in applicants
At NHHS PE, we look for candidates who demonstrate a strong interest in and knowledge of private equity, solid analytical skills, relevant experience, and a high level of motivation and drive. While prior experience and financial knowledge are valuable, we tailor our expectations based on your year of study — naturally, we expect more from older students in terms of insight and maturity. That said, we strongly encourage first-year and second-year students to apply if they are eager to learn and grow. A genuine interest in the PE industry and a willingness to challenge yourself are often just as important as experience.
The admission process
Our admission process consists of a single interview, which includes both a personal part and a case-solving part. The personal part is designed to help us get to know you better — your motivation, your interests, and why you want to be part of NHHS PE.
The case is tailored to the applicant's year of study: first- and second-year students will be given a more introductory-level case, while more experienced students will receive a case with greater complexity and analytical depth.

We are a selective group with a strong focus on quality and dedication. Our goal is to admit only the most capable and motivated candidates. Admissions are based solely on relevant factors: your competence, your interest in private equity, and your motivation to contribute. We do not take into account irrelevant or unrelated background factors — we care about what you bring to the table.
